“CPR truly enjoys working with David Niles because he is uncompromising when it comes to quality - he drives us to excellence,” stated Jeff Studley, President, CPR MulitMedia, “Since we started working with him in 1989, when David was pioneering HD and needed hi-res data display, pioneers like CPR, who had the only projectors that could show HDTV, we have partnered on many cutting-edge projects. The Barco LED truly captures the attention of anyone walking past the building, as it is visible from the street. In deciding on projectors for Tribute, we had the multiple demands of overlaying for 3D display, day in/day out reliability and premiere level screening room image quality. After all the tests and demos, plus field trials completed by our rental department, we knew the Barco SLM R8 was the right projector for this application. Now after months of use, we know we made the right choice!”
“When the concept for Tribute started to take shape, we turned to the projection gurus at CPR to assist us in getting the right solution for the two theatres we envisioned,” stated David Niles, President/Principal, Tribute, “Their experience in projection and with previous projects of mine, dating back to my Ed Sullivan Theatre days, makes them easy to work with. I know they'll recommend the best because they aren't locked into one manufacturer, just their clients' needs. The Barco projectors have consistently given the best images I've ever seen projected.”
“Tribute” was created by David Niles, an authority on HDTV production and the first person to pioneer the commercial applications of High Definition Television.
