With over 50,000 vehicles on its roads every day and road congestion ever increasing, the South Yorkshire County Council thought it was high time to improve and expand the existing road networks and ensure smoother traffic flows. The building of an advanced Traffic Control Center was one of the project's key components.
The brand-new Center was equipped with a top-notch Barco visualization solution, including a video wall, display controller and management software. It provides the Center's operators with real-time traffic information, which helps them minimize congestion and better inform travelers.
