Partnerships strategy
From the very beginning, the product strategy of Barco Silex has been to develop a strong relationship with highly selected technology driven partners, to provide our customers with the most advanced and suitable technology.

DSP partners
Barco Silex has strong experience in multimedia DSP programming and is member of the partner programs of Cradle, Philips Nexperia, and TI.

FPGA partners
Barco Silex can use the technology and experience of the Barco labs for their customer designs. This is leading to a strong relationship with programmable logic partners like ALTERA and XILINX. Technical information and design methodologies are forwarded direct to Barco Silex design teams.

ASIC partners
Barco Silex can interfere with any foundry, but has preferred suppliers, like ATMEL, EPSON, FARADAY and CHIP EXPRESS.

Technology partners
Technology partners are available through the Design and Reuse membership and the Belgian DSP valley, including members like Philips, Agfa, and the IMEC micro-electronic research organisation.

IP partners
Barco Silex has leadership in the use of the ARM 32-bit core of ARM. As an Approved Technology ARM Design center, Barco-Silex can use direct information from the ARM design centers for the use of the latest developments.
