To celebrate the 10th anniversary of its US e-commerce business and the launch of its e-commerce site in the UK, Ralph Lauren staged two 4D large scale building projections at its flagship stores in New York and London.
XL Events, working for Drive Productions, provided 8 Barco FLM HD20 projectors and crew to facilitate this visual spectacular in London. Graphics were provided by UVA using D3's to map real product footage and real models onto the building giving the audience the perception of it being in 3D.
The impressive show delighted the 2500 special guests attending. It turned out to be an awesome visual display of the Ralph Lauren range, featuring 3D replicas of some of the brand's most iconic images — such as galloping polo players and four-story tall models walking invisible runways — and accessories, such as bags, belts and ties, from the current collection.
