The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress is the largest medical meeting in Europe. With this large number of people attending this year, the organization decided for the first time to use projection technology.
Thanks to the 30 HD video screens in the convention center, all attendants had the opportunity to follow all presentations they wanted, even if they were not in the lecture halls. Centas, a rental company with over 30 years of experience in providing projection technology for all kinds of fairs, events and conferences, was responsible for delivering the right technology for this job. After careful consideration, they decided to use the RLM-W8, Barco's newest addition to its most silent projection range. Thanks to its near silent operation, it is ideal for use during a convention.
The RLM-W8 is an 8,000 lumens three-chip DLP™ projector with a WUXGA (1920x1200) resolution. In addition to offering low power consumptions and decreased noise levels, it features geometry correction and edge blending capabilities. Barco’s RLM-W8 is perfectly suited for the rental and staging markets with an optional Barco stacking frame.
