Captivating a crowd of hundreds during its annual New Year's message, World Outreach Chuch presented a brilliant panoramic video show to convey its 2011 "Blueprint for 2011." Entitled "Seen and Unseen," the eight-minute full immersion video specatular relied on eight Barco FLM HD20 projectors to illustrate Pastor Allen Jackson's message of divine intervention with stunning results.
The show utilized the projectors in such a way that each architectural element - from the building’s columns to its curtained windows - was mapped to create a continuous, edge-blended video presentation. It was a huge success, generating awareness of WOC during the church’s peak attendance season. “Our goal was to impact the congregation with unexpected visuals and audio. Additional benefits were engaging the audience in a spiritually moving storyline which complemented our theme. The quality of the presentation really generated a buzz in the community,” said Travis Walker, Project Lead for WOC. “The FLM projectors were essential to creating the immersive quality of the experience, especially the underwater segment, where their phenomenal image clarity and brightness were critical. Barco’s software also enabled us to lamp on and off via a wireless network, making it easy to discreetly control the projectors in between segments.”
