New display controller brings the latest in graphics and performance to existing diagnostic display systems

Barco added a new member to its MXRT line of ultra-fast and high-performance display controllers. The MXRT-5450 board is equipped with two Dual-link DVI connectors and the latest AMD FirePro™ professional graphics. This means the board can be used to enhance existing display systems with new visualization and performance technologies.

The MXRT-5450 delivers the performance, quality and stability required for today’s 2D and 3D imaging applications in healthcare. The board supports DirectX and OpenGL and is compatible with Microsoft Windows® XP and Windows® 7. The powerful GPU, based on PCIe Gen2 x 16 architecture, ensures fast and smooth image loading, roaming and manipulation of images with up to 5.8MP grayscale resolution.
