Palo Alto Film Festival celebrates innovation with Barco projection

Palo Alto Film Festival DP4K-32B
Barco lent its expertise and world-record winning digital cinema solutions to the second annual Palo Alto Int’l Film Festival, an event celebrating the convergence of art and technology and showcasing a rich array of film technology, award-winning independent films and legendary speakers.

Among a slate of 50 movies, the festival presented a special 3D screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s Dial M for Murder using Barco’s ultra-bright powerhouse, the DP4K-32B, as well as Disney’s Paperman, ET: The Extra Terrestrial, and Creature from the Black Lagoon.

What’s unique about PAIFF is that it focuses not just on actors, writers and directors, but the people being the scenes on the frontier of cinema technology to bring the freshest and most exciting ideas to the forefront of movie exhibition.
