Overwhelming interest in 2nd generation bedside terminals at Barco’s Medica 2012 booth

130,600 visitors, 93% of them decision-makers, from 120+ countries visited the recent Medica trade fair in Düsseldorf, Germany. Many of them – including Kris Peeters, Minister President of Flanders - passed by the Barco booth, which was centered around the 2nd generation JAO Smart Terminals. The interest in the bedside terminals was huge.

 

Just launched, Barco’s new 18.5” JAO Smart Terminal is the first of a new generation: thinner, lighter, more ergonomic and more powerful than the existing Point-of-Care terminals. Visitors to the Barco booth loved the new design of the terminals and were interested in the countless new features to benefit patients and healthcare workers alike. They learned how the new terminals are sure to improve clinical workflow and make for happier and healthier patients.  

In addition to highlighting the bedside terminals, Barco’s sales team manning the booth also presented the Nexxis image management solution, which was launched at Medica 2011 and is quickly finding its way into operating theaters around the world. The stand also featured several surgical displays and the Coronis Fusion diagnostic display systems.
