Barco unveils brand-new ClickShare functionality at ISE 2013

Barco has worked hard on three new features to make its popular ClickShare meeting room presentation system even more intuitive than it is today, while further raising meeting productivity. From this spring onwards, ClickShare will come complete with dual-display functionality, be iPad compatible and integrate audio. The new release will be demonstrated at this week’s ISE trade fair in Amsterdam.
ClickShare’s dual display functionality is automatically triggered whenever two displays are connected to the ClickShare Base Unit. It will allow businesses to easily present information on two screens during e.g. videoconferencing.

On top of this new feature, Barco announced two more extras that take ClickShare to the next level: the system will be fully compatible with an iPad - via Apple TV or HDMI to DVI video cable - and includes audio. The new functionality will be easy to integrate into existing ClickShare systems.

“I am very happy that we have been able to keep our promise of ensuring audio and iPad compatibility by early 2013, and even complement these features with dual display functionality,” said Yoav Nir, Business Development Manager Collaboration. “We will, of course, keep developing new features to further raise meeting productivity.”
