Unveiling the DP2K-10SX and Auro 11.1 to central Europe's cinema experts

On 20 and 21 February last, around 300 decision-makers from cinemas, culture houses, authorities, etc. gathered in Krakow, Poland, to discuss the future of cinema in their region, at the 2013 Eurocinema Expo conference. Barco participated in this third edition as a Gold Sponsor, together with its Polish partners KinExpert and dcinex. The conference was the ideal opportunity to unveil new Barco digital cinema technologies.

 

On show were the new DP2K-10SX digital cinema projector with 3D live projection and the increasingly popular Auro 11.1 cinema sound format by Barco. During the two-day practical seminar, Barco expert Piotr Kowalczyk gave a series of training sessions for the new DP2K-10SX projector. Participants showed vivid interest in this new offering, which perfectly fits smaller theaters and arthouse cinemas.
