After the succesful launch of the iOS version of its ClickShare application, Barco has recently released an Android version of the popular collaboration tool. The new app offers meeting participants the flexibility to share images and documents in a meeting-room environment from their Android device.
Increasing the audience
An Apple iOS version of the app has been available for a while now, receiving overwhelmingly positive reactions from both iPhone and iPad users. The release of the new application marks ClickShare’s debut in the world of Android, Google’s operating system. “Android is the most widely used platform for smart devices in the world,” says Guy Coen, Vice-President ClickShare at Barco. “So the ClickShare Android application hugely expands the applicability of our meeting-room presentation system. In addition, it opens the door to a whole new wave of ClickShare enthusiasts.”
Wider network of users
In the meantime, we’re happy to announce a significant update of the popular ClickShare iOS app. From now on, iPhone/iPad users will also be able to visualize Microsoft Office documents, in addition to JPEG images and PDF documents. In this way, we’re further increasing the possibilities and flexibility of ClickShare to enhance meeting experiences around the globe.
The ClickShare Android and iOS apps are available for free from the Google Play and Apple iTunes App stores, respectively.
