Veteran cinema strategist and movie technology futurist Ted Schilowitz has joined the Barco team to launch CinemaBarco, helping to bring back classic Hollywood showmanship to the cinema and engage a new community of moviegoers. CinemaBarco celebrates the art, science and magic of the movies, offering storytelling moments that can be implemented throughout the cinema to create a compelling user experience from the lobby, to the auditorium and beyond.
“Ted brings a refreshing, childlike enthusiasm combined with his unique brand of disruption toward our efforts in creating new, exhilarating and communal entertainment experiences,” comments Todd Hoddick, Vice President Global Entertainment for Barco.
Schilowitz and the rest of the Barco team will unveil The CinemaBarco Experience at CinemaCon, with demonstration sessions held March 25-27 at the Cinemark Century 16 South Point and XD. Multiple sessions are available, with bus transportation provided. Visitors can register for a session at this website.
Barco will also showcase several of its theater-wide cinema entertainment solutions in Booth #2313A at CinemaCon from March 24-27 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.
