“Really inspiring and informative.” “Encouraging to see how our vision and ideas really match.” These are just two of the enthusiastic reactions we got after last week’s Venue & Hospitality (V&H) Community Days at our Kuurne Customer Center. All 90 Barco partners and sales reps who attended the dinner and workshop went home full of ideas on how to boost our joint business.
The need for face-to-face
In today’s digital, virtual world, it is good to get together in person, from time to time, to share ideas and information, discuss, network and learn. That’s exactly what 90 V&H partners and Barco sales reps did, last week. On the agenda was, of course, an introduction to our V&H strategy, as well as presentations and demonstrations of our ever-expanding product portfolio: projection technology, including the groundbreaking laser projection, IP solutions, the ClickShare meeting room presentation system, the auto-calibration feature in our LCD walls and the LiveDots offering.
Two days next year?
Yet much more than that, we reserved a lot of time for Q&A sessions, to strengthen our ties with the channel partners and understand their needs and wants. Together, we critically discussed what Barco could do better to support their business and what the future will bring. Everyone went home with a Barco backpack full of information, inspired to further grow the business. Some partners carefully asked if we could maybe make this a two-day event, in the future – great proof of how useful this live get-together really was!
