Barco and Global Caché have formed an alliance to provide seamless compatibility of Global Caché hardware from within Barco’s IP-based Overture control and automation software. Overture is now shipping with Global Caché support and connectivity built right in.

it can be controlled, automated, and maintained by network-based software. Now, Barco customers can include Global Caché hardware in their projects and installations without the need for programming or drivers giving them a distinct competitive edge.

Overture created a revolution in A/V control solutions when it was released earlier this year. Because it’s an IP-based software system, Overture is simpler and more economical to set up, install and manage than conventional hardware-based solutions. Barco recently announced updates for Overture including automatic behaviors and scheduling.
