Barco and Nice announce integrated solution for video streaming
Orlando, FL – Visualization leader Barco announced today that it has successfully completed video streaming integration testing with Nice Systems. The combination of the two companies’ solutions will allow direct hardware-based decoding of NiceVision streams on Barco’s universal decoder for networked visualization.
The hybrid Barco TransForm Controller contains a variety of input cards, among them universal decoding cards. Barco TransForm customers can now enjoy the live decoding and display of Nice Systems encoded streams. Also, Nice Vision customers have the ability to flexibly viewing large amounts of Nice Systems video streams on a Barco display wall without the limitations of a PC screen and without any need for conversions to analog video. The large size of the viewing area and the flexibility offer easier collaboration and reduce response times.
At the ASIS show in Orlando, 12-14 September, Barco (booth #323) will demonstrate the interoperability of its visualization platform with Nice Systems’ encoded video streams. Nice Systems (booth #1969) will be hosting a Barco display wall, driven by a Barco TransForm controller. Nice Systems will showcase the decoding and visualization on the Barco display wall of the Nice Systems encoded live video streams.
