Barco and DVTel offer integrated video streaming solution

Orlando, FL- Barco, a worldwide leader in control room solutions, announced today that its visualization platform is capable of being integrated with DVTel’s video streaming technology. The two companies have successfully tested the integration, which will allow direct hardware-based decoding of DVTel’s 7600-series encoders on Barco’s networked visualization universal decoder platform.
Barco’s hybrid TransForm A controller, which contains a variety of input cards including universal decoding cards, now enables customers to benefit from the live decoding and display of DVTel encoded streams. Plus, DVTel customers have the advantage of flexibly viewing large amounts of DVTel video streams on a Barco display wall without the limitations of a PC screen and without the need for conversion to analog video. The large size of the viewing area and the flexibility also offer easier collaboration and reduced response times.

Barco (booth #323) will demonstrate this integration capability at the ASIS show in Orlando, Sept. 12-14. Also, DVTel (booth #3283) will be exhibiting a Barco display wall, driven by a Barco TransForm A Controller. DVTel will showcase the decoding and visualization of live video streams from the DVTel intelligent Security Operations Center (iSOC) platform operating on the Barco display wall. The full-featured, enterprise-wide intelligent Security Operations Centre (iSOC) includes a traditional DVR, matrix switch and multiplexer in a single software-based product.
