Barco Appoints Director of Operations
Atlanta, Georgia – February 2, 2005 – Barco is pleased to announce the appointment of Jack Godbee to the position of Director of Operations, reporting to Tom Burdette, Site Manager and Vice President - Barco Visual Solutions, LLC, effective immediately. Godbee replaces Vince Morelli, who has elected to retire after successfully leading the Atlanta operations for three years. Godbee is responsible for overseeing all service center functions of Barco Visual Solutions, including technical support, training, equipment installations, customer service, depot repair, and logistics.
Godbee has over 37 years of experience with the Bellsouth/AT&T family, which includes 26 years in service operations management. He was most recently General Manager, Central Support for Bellsouth Communication Systems in Atlanta, GA. In that role, he was responsible for all central support activities for complex communication systems for the entire US.
