Barco China awarded ISO14001 certification, extending its commitment to environmental protection and being a leading ‘green’ enterprise.

Barco ISO 14001 certification has been awarded by SGS of Switzerland, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company. Recognized as the global benchmark for quality, integrity and a commitment to the environment, Barco China’s ISO 14001 certification covers a range of business activities, including the provision of wholesale, import & export and support & consulting services of large-screen display system, monitoring system, simulation equipment, home theatre equipment, digital projector, projector, medical and air traffic display & control equipment and related components. It also covers equipment leasing and maintenance services of the above equipment, as well as hardware and software development.

ISO 14001 EMS provides enterprises with guidance on how to manage the environmental aspects of business activities more effectively, while taking into consideration environmental protection, pollution prevention and socio-economic needs. The certification enables Barco China to fully demonstrate its commitment to the environment.

Barco pursues business strategies that put the company in harmony with society and the environment. It demonstrates this by putting high priority on environmental responsibility, especially in its emerging markets.
