Barco Digital Cinema announces winner of its Cannes Film Festival trip at ShoWest
Atlanta, GA – May 4, 2004 – Barco Digital Cinema is pleased to announce that Tim Johnson of Rogers Cinema, Inc. is the winner of a trip to the 2004 Cannes Film Festival, which takes place in Cannes, France May 12 – 23, 2004. During the festival, Johnson will attend the digital premiere of Shrek 2, which is being screened in Competition on Saturday May 15th, and attend the DreamWorks party following the screening as a VIP guest.
Johnson’s business card was randomly drawn from hundreds of attendees at ShoWest, who entered the contest at Barco’s booth over a three-day period during the trade show and conference. Johnson is the Director of Presentation at Marshfield, Wisconsin-based Rogers Cinema.
Rogers Cinema, Inc, operating since 1972, is owned by Paul J. Rogers and John V. Koran. The company has theatre locations in Marshfield, New London, Waupaca, Wisconsin Rapids and Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The corporate offices are located in Marshfield, WI.
