BARCO Enters Stategic Partnership with Three Leading Rental and Staging Companies
Kennesaw, GA - BARCO has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with three leading rental and staging companies: Alford Media (Dallas, TX), Hi-Tech Rentals (Atlanta, GA), and Proline Audio-Visual Rentals (Seattle, WA). This unprecedented agreement, with a value in excess of five million dollars, includes the sale of thirty (30) of BARCO’s ELM R12 Extreme Light Machine projectors. Through its partners, BARCO is providing users in the rental and staging community with a powerful new alternative for brilliant large venue applications.

Alford Media is a nationally recognized staging company providing video, audio, lighting, and show coordination services for high-end corporate staging events. The company was founded in Dallas, Texas in 1989 and specialized in development of innovative multimedia presentations. Today, Dallas-based Alford Media also operates branch offices in Atlanta, GA and Irvine, CA. Hi-Tech Rentals was founded in Atlanta in 1988. Initially, the company rented audiovisual equipment for the local tradeshow market. Today, Hi-Tech Rentals specializes in providing high quality, fully integrated audiovisual services, as well as full-scale computer rentals for: corporate meetings, conventions, event staging, trade show exhibits, computer networking, and corporate events to customers nationwide. "We purchased BARCO’s ELM Series projectors because of their exceptionally high light output, and the fact that they were built to handle the rigorous demands of the staging market", said Stewart Leckie, Hi-Tech Rentals’ Director of Sales and Marketing, "These projectors are extremely rugged and yet they are designed for easy handling."
