BARCO Introduces PCI-Based Radar Scan Converter

MAASTRICHT, THE NETHERLANDS, February 17, 1998 -- BARCO Display Systems introduces the SRC 1000 radar scan converter at this year’s ATC exhibition in Maastricht. BARCO’s new SRC 1000 high performance radar scan converter is a single slot, full size PCI board which digitizes and compresses radar data at any resolution.
The SRC 1000 can transmit and share radar data over a network and also has the capability of recording the processed radar information. Only one SRC is required for each radar system. The SRC 1000 radar scan converter can be integrated into the new BARCO GALAXY II Series of multi-configurable PCI-based workstation offering both air and vessel traffic control integrators with a cost-effective system solution.
