BARCO ELM G10 projectors used for the most prestigious song contest in Europe
BARCO proudly announces its high performance DLP™ projection technology has been selected for the Eurovision Song Contest in Denmark on May 12. This European Song Contest in Copenhagen’s Parken Stadium was watched by a live audience of 35,000 people and live broadcast to more than 100 million viewers all over Europe. Comtech from Copenhagen, one of Scandinavia’s largest audio-visual companies, has worked out the complete audio-visual show for this annual Eurovision Song Contest. Fourteen (14) BARCO ELM G10 projectors were used to display stunning images during the event. Ten ELM G10 projectors were installed in a side-by-side rear-screen configuration to create an overwhelming video show on the main stage. Four additional ELM G10 units in dual-stack configuration allowed the audience outstanding close-ups of on-stage talent and the score on two screens on both sides of the stage.
