Barco Showcases Events Solutions on Asian Road Show.

Yesterday marked the start of the road show that will see Barco introduce its latest LED and projection solutions to the Asian rental and staging industries. The road show starts in Australia with events in Melbourne on 3 and 4 April and in Sydney on 8 and 9 April before continuing to Tokyo, Korea and Hong Kong in May and June. The show will feature the brand-new RLM G5 and SLM R10 projectors, Barco’s renowned indoor LED display range including the ILite 6 and 8mm as well as the recently launched Slite 10, Barco’s newest addition to its large-format outdoor LED range. Barco’s proprietary Events Controller will control all projection and LED display devices in the show.

Both the RLM G5, a compact DLP-based projector which has been specifically designed for the mid-venue market as well as the SLM R10 projector, which is also 3-chip DLP-based and offers 10 000 Lumen, are much anticipated launches in a budget conscious rental & staging industry.

The new Slite LED range, which comes in 10mm and 14mm versions, has already received very positive reviews at its European and North American introductions. Purpose-built for ultra-large outdoor installations, the Slite was designed and developed from Barco’s Dlite display platform, and as such combines the ultimate picture quality and system integrity of the DLite with the cost-efficient module of the SLite, offering those who have become accustomed to Barco’s high-quality products a solution which respects the company’s quest for perfection - at a budget-friendly price.

After its stop in Australia in April, the road show will visit Tokyo from the 20th to 22nd of May, where it will coincide with the opening of Barco’s new offices, after which it moves to tour Korea and Hong Kong in the first half of June.
