KORTRIJK, January 12, 2004. Barco, world-renowned supplier of professional and industrial DLP™ and CRT cinema products for large screen visualization, has developed the CineVERSUM range of projectors to meet the needs of the most demanding of high-end home cinema enthusiasts. Based on Barco’s professional digital cinema projectors, the CineVERSUM family consists of five models that successfully combine exceptional film-like video performance and advanced user-friendly features in a design-forward aluminum finish chassis design.

The flagship model, CineVERSUM 120, incorporates the highest performance Texas Instruments 3-chip 16X9 DLP capable of accommodating 90”-150” diagonal screens ensuring exceptional brightness and color balance. A wide variety of lenses are made available in order to optimize the projector within the context of the system installation ensuring outstanding video sharpness, even if the projector is placed off-axis. The MASTER, state-of-the-art video processor, is interfaced via a proprietary digital cable link providing unparalleled performance and installation convenience. Numerous analog and digital sources can be processed and optimized since the MASTER circuit design is modular, adaptability to changing standards is possible as technology evolves.
Other models include the CineVERSUM 110, also a 3-chip design and the CineVERSUM 80, 70 and 60 all equipped with the latest High-Definition single DLP chip.
