SC Media Technologies becomes exclusive distributor of Barco’s lighting and LED products in Canada
SC Media Technologies, a division of Soundcraft Canada, has formed an agreement with Barco to exclusively handle its lighting equipment and mid-market “Elements” LED products. SC Media will provide local support of sales, marketing, service and parts for Canada-based rental & staging partners and integrators for these solutions.
Montreal, Canada — 21 September 2010 — Digital and automated lighting pioneer Barco announced today that it is expanding its local presence in Canada by partnering with SC Media Technologies, which will serve as its exclusive distributor of Barco/High End Systems lighting and Elements LED solutions. Now, Barco's customers in Canada will be able to obtain products, service and support from a local distributor for a faster, more cost-effective approach to fulfilling their creative lighting and display needs.
SC Media is providing support through its national sales and dedicated project management teams, expanding its personnel to fulfill the anticipated increase in business from Barco sales and service. The company has a rich foundation in pro audio which will be well complimented by the expansion into Barco's professional video displays.
