xRACU™: more than a variable in Remote Alignment and Control
At I/ITSEC 2003 Barco unveils the xRACU, a highly flexible multi-system remote alignment and control unit. With xRACU, projector operation, calibration, configuration, and diagnostics are simplified
“xRACU was created at the request of leading simulation integrators,” says Hernan Rodriguez, Market Manager of Simulation and Edutainment. “It makes the complex simple and the simple simpler. The intuitive user-interface and overall design will ease the burden of set-up and maintenance of multi-channel projection systems.”
At the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, I/ITSEC 2003 attendees will witness the versatility and adaptability of the xRACU, a highly flexible multi-system remote alignment and control unit. To demonstrate its capabilities, Barco will use the xRACU to control the SIM6 Ultra, SIM4, and BR908 projectors in booth 533 throughout the show.
The Barco xRACU is a flexible projector control system that allows you to operate, calibrate, configure, and diagnose multiple Barco projectors (any mix of CRT, LCD, or DLPä) from a single hand-held controller. A full-color, LCD panel, remote touch screen lets you interact with the projection system. xRACU reduces set-up and maintenance time, and it instantly detects the projector type and location by automatically downloading display parameters.
The xRACU uses a common interface across all projector types and technologies, allowing the simultaneous control of up to 32 projectors. For flexible operation, up to 10 discrete Time of Day modes can be stored with calibrated interpolation between modes.
