In April, Barco partnered with Rockwell Automation for the Automation University event in Paris and the Value Forum event in Dubai. These events consisted of a wide range of seminars, presentations and hands-on workshops on the latest developments in automation and information technology. Barco was present on the show floor at both events.

The brightness, contrast and wide viewing angle of the F35 projector were just perfect to bring the baffling 3D content from NoReal.it to life.

Barco partner Avitec highlighted its enthusiasm for Barco’s projection products during the recent ProShow exhibition in Istanbul (14 – 17 March). The 15th century is down in the records of Bruges as the ‘Golden Age’, as the city thrived on an economic, political and cultural level. ‘Historium’, the brand-new exhibition on Bruges in its heyday, opened its doors on Sunday 25 November. With the help of Barco’s projection products, visitors to ‘Historium’ are catapulted back in time.

When thousands of Star Wars devotees gather in Florida during late August to celebrate the iconic film series, Lucasfilm puts on an event befitting the enthusiasm of its die-hard fans. The Digital Stage, sponsored by RealD, was the venue for a unique panel entitled the “Making of…” Star Wars: Episode II, which utilized Barco projection and its MatrixPRO HD-SDI in a presentation to explain how footage originally shot in 2D was manipulated to create a 3D feature film. The Barco projector was also used to show a sneak preview of the movie, in addition to screening two Star Wars movies nightly.

Mercator Digital, a prestigious exhibit to commemorate the 500th birthday of cartographer Gerardus Mercator, recently closed its doors, after six successful months. Barco and its partner Maverick ICS were proud sponsors of the events. The Barco RLM-W6 projectors delivered such crystal-clear images that they will now move permanently to the existing Mercator Museum.

Kino Expo 2012, taking place in St. Petersburg, Russia, takes off today. Barco is present at this cinema industry exhibition through its many partners.

Everyone involved in the energy sector is travelling to Stavanger, Norway, this week to attend ONS, the world’s leading energy exhibition. And Barco’s there too. Barco partner Hove Lysdesign/AV avdelingen supplied two RLM-W8 projectors and an Encore presentation system to support the opening concert, on Tuesday night. On top of that, leading companies are using Barco projectors to catch the eye at their exhibition booths.
