To highlight this historic event, the Berlinale and the European Film Market organized a special 3D theme day Sunday 13 February.

The C7 features a 7mm pixel pitch, a 2,000 nits high contrast calibrated output and superior color reproduction. All this technology comes in an ultra-thin, fanless enclosure requiring no tools for deployment and servicing.

An exclusive symposium featuring the latest in large-format digital cinema technology featured Barco’s 4K projector on a giant screen for the first time ever. In addition to the industry premiere of “Waking the T.Rex 3D: the Story of Sue,” Barco participated in a demonstration of the various 3D technologies, a 4K DLP vs. 70mm shootout, an alternative content showcase, industry premieres, and trailers of new digital shows.
