Barco's RLM-W8 projector played a leading role in the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress in Stockholm. During the five day convention, a total of 30 RLM-W8 projectors made sure all 27,000 attendants could enjoy the presentations with front row view quality.

Its DP2K-32B digital cinema projector can now officially claim the title of 'brightest projector in the world' after succeeding at a world record attempt, with a measured and validated brightness of over 43,000 center lumens.

Thousands of Washington, DC visitors were treated to a spectacular display of art and architecture at the “NightGallery”/FotoWeek DC program held November 6th-13th.  Monumental projections illuminated the facades of significant Washington, DC architecture to showcase some of today's provocative and inspiring works of art. Barco’s products were used to showcase images on the exterior of all venues, including the Corcoran Gallery of Art and College of Art+Design, Newseum, Holocaust Museum, American Red Cross, National Museum of the American Indian, Satellite Central (M Street - Georgetown) and the Human Rights Campaign buildings.

At the RSNA Annual Meeting in Chicago, Barco will release its 10 MegaPixel Coronis Fusion 10MP display system. The new product inherits all the advantages of Barco's successful Coronis Fusion displays and adds a new, proprietary 'SmoothGray' technology for the presentation of ultra-precise grayscale images. Coronis Fusion 10MP has obtained FDA 510 (k) clearance.

Barco’s RLM-W6, also dubbed “the most silent projector”, is currently in the running to get a coveted InAVation Award, a highly prestigious industry accolade that is awarded each year shortly before ISE. And ISE is, as you may know, the biggest AV tradeshow of Europe.
