Robert Elfrink, medical physicist at the Elkerliek hospital (the Netherlands), is convinced that Barco’s Nexxis for the digital Operating Room (OR) will help enhance the workflow at the hospital’s new operating theater. A rapidly growing number of hospitals in Belgium and Luxemburg agree with Elfrink and have understood the powerful features of Barco’s IP-centric solution for video and image management and distribution. The solution has been set up in several ORs already and over 70 ORs have committed to installing Nexxis in the coming months.

This Tuesday is D-day for the brand-new Air Traffic Control Center (ATCC) at Ljubljana airport. After months’ of preparations, the new ATCC will open on 12 March. Designed with clinical specialists in mind, the Eonis displays combine an innovative, built-in front sensor with Barco’s MediCal QAWeb cloud-based tool to ensure superior, controlled image quality. The Eonis 22” model is available in a black and a white version, with the latter offering a fully cleanable front glass panel to prevent infection – a first in the market.

Easy and clear data visualization is essential to Tecgraf, the Computer Graphics Research and Development Lab of the PUC-Rio University (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil). To gain thorough insights into various computer graphics, it installed a three-sided iSpace featuring three Barco Galaxy NH-12 projectors and one ultra-high resolution LX-5 projector.
