BARCO CONNECT! PARTNER PROGRAM
Terms & Conditions

PURPOSE

Barco has and will design programs for its Partners to promote Barco Products and Services, 
enhance the satisfaction of Barco's end-users and augment the expertise and resources of Partners.
The Barco Connect Partner Program is located at www.partners.barco.com.

PROGRAM LEVELS AND SCOPE

The Program offers multiple Partner Levels with varying participation requirements and benefits. Thus, 
the scope of benefits provided to the Partner is subject to: (a) the Partner Level; and (b) the Partner 
Program Benefits as documented in the section “Partner Benefits”, on the date the Partner submitted 
the Application for the first term and the first day of any renewal term.
"Partner Level" means the level of Partner participation in the Program. As of the most recent 
update of this Agreement, there are three partner levels: (i) "Authorized" partner level, (ii) "Silver" 
partner level, and (iii) “Gold” partner level.

PARTNER REQUIREMENTS

Partner Enrollment and Compliance

To join the Barco Partner Program, Partner must complete an online application and accept the Barco 
Connect Partner Program Terms and Conditions. Acceptance of Partner into the Program is at the sole 
discretion of Barco.
Benefits and requirements vary by partner level. Partnership will renew automatically for successive 
one-year terms provided that Partner remains in compliance with all program requirements. Barco 
reviews program compliance at least once a year, and reserves the right to re-level Partners that 
exceed or no longer meet the requirements of their partnership level.

Promote Barco Products and Services

Partner will actively promote Barco Products and Services and meet yearly revenue objectives as 
agreed.

Deal Registration

Partner will register eligible customer sales opportunities using the Deal Registration form available at 
www.partners.barco.com.

Certification

An important element of the Program is knowledge transfer through education and training. Product 
knowledge is a key factor in enabling Partners to effectively sell, deploy, and support Barco Products 
and Services. Gold and Silver partners must maintain certified staff to be eligible to renew their yearly 
partnership. The number of courses to attend and the number of people to certify will depend upon the 
actual and expected business which needs to be supported, and will be documented in the compulsory 
Annual Business Plan. Partner will be able to consult its level of certification and book trainings at any 
time by accessing the Learning Management System via the Barco Partner Portal 
www.partners.barco.com.

Partner Marketing

Partner will ensure that Barco is visible in all aspects of its communication, ensuring a clear visibility on 
Partner’s website. Partner shall cooperate with Barco to allow for review of Partner’s use of the 
Marketing Services and subsequent Market Development Funds and compliance with Barco’s brand 
guidelines. If Barco, in its sole discretion, determines that Partner’s use of the Marketing Services is not 
in compliance with this Agreement, Partner shall promptly modify or discontinue Partner’s use as 
directed by Barco.

Annual Business Planning

During this interactive session, Barco will walk Partner through the details of various tools and benefits 
available to Partner so Partner can maximize the value of Partnership with Barco. The main topics of 
discussion will be i) annual revenue targets for products and services, ii) share of wallet, iii) staff to be 
certified, iv) mapping Partner’s performance by vertical market, v) the definition of an annual marketing 
plan and vi) the areas that Partner will focus on to develop the business further together with Barco.

Customer Support

Partner commits to sell and market Barco’s portfolio of services, which is important for generating 
customer satisfaction. Barco recognizes that some partners have made a substantial investment in 
infrastructure and expertise to deliver their end-user high quality support. Therefore the Program also 
offers Service accreditation, the Barco Service Partner Program. If Partner chooses to get accredited, 
Partner agrees to get Partner’s technicians trained and certified, to provide Barco’s end-users a 
professional level of support, and to abide by the additional terms and conditions for Service 
accreditation.

Code of Conduct

During the term, Partner shall conduct its activities in an ethical manner and in a way that reflects 
favorably on itself and Barco.

PARTNER BENEFITS

 
General

Barco shall use reasonable commercial efforts to provide the Benefits to Partner. Barco will only provide 
Partner with the Benefits for the Products for which Partner has satisfied or fulfilled any applicable 
prerequisites. Barco reserves the right to refuse access to certain Products by Partners who are not 
certified for such Products.

Access to Barco’s Partner Portal

Access to Barco’s sites on www.partners.barco.com is governed by Barco’s applicable Terms of Use and 
the applicable privacy policy.
Partner may be granted access to restricted portions of Barco’s sites in connection with a Benefit or 
group of Benefits.

Training and Certification

With the objective to even further support its Partners towards achieving business goals and also 
ensuring end-user delight, Barco has developed a range of Technical and Sales Trainings available at 
www.barco.com/trainings.

Market Development Funds

Market Development Funds (MDF) are made available to eligible partners to support their Barco 
marketing and sales activities. MDF will be agreed within the Annual Business Plan and activities will be 
detailed by quarter in a Quarterly Marketing Plan. Appropriate proof of execution will be required. Up to 
50% of costs can be reimbursed and will be paid after the activity closes. 
End of year rebates

Typically, incentives are available to Partners for reaching financial and non-financial targets that will be 
detailed and authorized in their Business Plan. Rebates or incentives on Service products would depend 
upon the achievement of certain objectives, like attach rates, conversion rates and renewal rates. 
Targets will be reviewed quarterly.

Deal Registration

Partner can gain additional fees for approved registered sales opportunities. Fees will be paid after the 
contract win, when a claim has been submitted with appropriate proof of execution and when Barco has 
received full payment.
To benefit from these fees, the following elements will be taken into account:

1. The deal is new, and Barco was not previously aware of the opportunity.

2. Partner has effectively positioned Barco and qualified the opportunity.

3. Partner has performed a pre-sales function and supported the end-user for the duration of the sales cycle.

To get the maximum available benefit Partner must provide proof of each area of engagement in the 
claiming process.
A deal can be registered by multiple partners. Barco reserves the right to define who is eligible for the 
deal. The payment of fees shall only be granted if no legal restrictions apply and the end-customer has 
not specified prohibition of discounts in its tender specifications.

Sales through authorized distributors

In the case of Partners with whom Barco does not have a separate reseller or distributor agreement, 
and who are generally supplied with Products through an authorized Barco Distributor, Barco reserves 
the right, for administrative and practical reasons, to arrange for all MDF and other financial benefits to 
be paid via the authorized Barco Distributor. 

PROGRAM CHANGES

Barco reserves the right to modify or terminate the Program, including any condition, requirement or 
benefit. Any such changes or modification shall be effective upon notice to Partner or at such time Barco 
may specify. Barco will use commercially reasonable efforts to give Partner thirty (30) days’ notice of 
termination of the Program, or any material change to the Program that would adversely affect Partner.
