Barco enhances NUON’s operational efficiency
Since the merger of NUON and ENW (Energy Nord West) the electrical network of NUON has become twice as large. Because NUON’s mosaic wall had reached its final size and could not be further extended in line with the needs of an ever- growing network, NUON decided to replace it by a modern and more flexible large- screen display wall. After thorough investigation, NUON chose Barco's solution, supplied and integrated by Siemens Germany/ Netherlands.

Barco's solution along with Siemens' energy management system provides NUON's operators with all critical information at a glance, thus significantly reducing the reaction time per event. The solution enables NUON to offer the highest quality of customer service and to efficiently reduce its operational costs.
