Challenge: Gniewino’s Culture, Recreation and Sports center was looking for a user-friendly projection system capable of handling many types of sources with the same ease - 1080p HD sources, satellite content, Blu-ray content and others. The reason for this was that they needed a projection system that was able to fulfill multiple roles simultaneously. Solution: The Culture, Recreation and Sports Center went for Barco’s single-chip DLP iCon H500 projector. In the main conference room, the iCon doubles up as a video projector and a business projector. For conferencing purposes, its users can show multiple sources simultaneously in a familiar Windows desktop interface, and control these sources with a simple keyboard and mouse. Why Barco: With its 1080p HD resolution, the iCon H500 can display video sources in great detail, while its 5,000 lumens light output lets all images come across vibrant and true-to-life. In addition, the iCon’s Windows interface and intuitive source multi-windowing means that every user can operate the system straightaway, without the need to invest in additional training.
