Barco supports Inverness Airport in gearing up for future growth

For a rapidly expanding regional airport like Inverness, advanced radar technology is a must to secure safety, provide optimal passenger and airline services and mitigate environmental impact (noise and emissions). In 2007, Inverness Airport’s Air Traffic Control was equipped with an advanced Barco airport display solution, the first to be set up in the UK.

“The Barco solution sets itself apart by its high technical quality, the good value for money and the powerful functions. Equally key to the success of the radar project is the unremitting support Barco provided and continues to provide. Now that Inverness Airport has also installed its own radar heads, it is entirely ready for the future,” said Chris Stock, radar project manager.
