Toyota City, located in the Aichi Prefecture, needed visualization to breathe life into its ambitious new planetarium. The planetarium opted for an advanced digital dome setup from Konica Minolta Planetarium and Barco, driven by an array of six Barco LCoS projectors. With a very high contrast ratio, excellent black levels and high resolution, the projectors deliver the amount of realism required to immerse the planetarium's public in space. In addition, the Barco projectors are designed for multi-channel setups and non-linear surfaces. This allows them to project one seamless, geometrically correct image free of color and brightness differences.
