Sundance Film Festival relies on Barco to premiere new films

Barco digital cinema projectors are once again front and center stage at the annual Sundance Film Festival, held in and around Park City, Utah this month. Widely considered the premier platform for American and international independent film, the Festival has introduced audiences to some of the most original stories of the last three decades.

Films such as Reservoir Dogs, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, American Splendor, An Inconvenient Truth, Little Miss Sunshine, and The Cove, all debuted at Sundance with Barco projectors in tow. This year, several DP2K series projectors – including the powerhouse DP2K-32B and the DP2K-15C – are showcasing several exclusive premieres and dramatic films at a few of the 14 cinema venues during the event, held from January 20-30, 2011.
