Barcelona Airport

Providing a bird’s eye view of operations at Barcelona airport

El Prat’s new 544,066m2 terminal has the ambitious mission of consolidating Barcelona’s position as a reference airport in the Mediterranean area and southern Europe. T1 is an extremely complex building in terms of logistics and technology: more than 100,000 passengers are scheduled to pass through it every day, served by no less than 15,000 staff. To offer airport customers the best possible travel experience, T1 is equipped with top-notch technology. With air transport constantly evolving and requiring the highest comfort and safety levels, the revamped El Prat could not do without a cuttingedge Airport Management Center.
