Nara FantAsia

Historical figure Sanzo brought back to life

Takenaka Co., Ltd, one of Barco's rental partners in Japan, has achieved its very first large scale projection mapping project for an event called Nara FantAsia, using Barco's FLM R22+, a 22.000 lumens three-chip DLP projector, in conjunction with Barco's image processing technology. This first event was dedicated to the historical figure Sanzo who brought significant influence to Buddhism for both Japan and China 1300 years ago, and his life journey was expressed by projection mapping on to the building of Nara national museum.
