OSYRIS AMAN allows for more efficient, safer and greener airport operations

Gardermoen airport in Oslo is the hub of Norwegian aviation. In 2011, over 21 million passengers traveled through Gardermoen, making it the second-busiest airport in the Nordic countries. To help all passengers fly comfortably and safely, the Norwegian Air Navigation Service Provider Avinor invests heavily in air traffic control. As a long-term Barco (previously Orthogon) customer, Avinor installed Barco's OSYRIS Arrival MANager (AMAN) in 2010 to improve arrival operations at Oslo. “We've been working with it for over a year now and we could no longer do without it,” confirmed Kristian Pjaaten, Avinor's AMAN project manager.
