Barco equips Frankfurt Traffic Control Center with impressive LED technology on an impressively large wall

The German city of Frankfurt am Main has been controlling and guiding its traffic at a dedicated Traffic Control Center since 1992. When the Center moved to a new building in March 2011, the operators embraced an entirely new way of working: Siemens installed a 14m2 wide Barco video wall, composed of 21 LED-lit cubes.

“We chose Barco after visits to other control centers, where everyone was enthusiastic about the quality of both Barco`s solutions and services,” said Dorothee Allekotte, Manager at the Frankfurt am Main Traffic Control Center, “Moreover, no other supplier could offer the innovative LED technology Barco proposed.”
