Matenadaran 3D projection mapping

Following the official nomination of Yerevan as the UNESCO World Book Capital of 2012, 3D video mapping expert NuFormer was called on to translate Armenia’s literary history into a stunning 3D projection mapping. The collection of colorful historical works stored in the Matenadaran, a depository for ancient manuscripts and books, proved to be a beautiful source of inspiration for the vivid 3D animation.

NuFormer used 3 Barco FLM-HD20 projectors to establish the spectacular 3D video projection. The projection was followed by flamboyant fireworks that slowly expanded into a large-scale pyrotechnical show.
