An ever-changing kaleidoscope of colors and music
Back in 1948, the Polish Ministry of Culture and Art dreamt of a folk group that would uphold the regional traditions and music of the Masovian province. The group, called Mazowsze, hasn’t stopped singing, dancing and impressing the world ever since then. To celebrate its 65th anniversary, Mazowsze kicked off a grand 65-concert tour with a gala night at Teatr Wielki in Warsaw - Poland’s grandest opera and ballet theater.
The concert featured the best choreographies from the ensemble’s repertoire, the most popular songs, magnificent folk costumes and … an amazing 3D video mapping by Barco partner Pro4Media. The animations were visualized by Barco FLM-HD20 projectors from Pro4Media’s rental stack. The feedback was very positive. “If this is the image of Poland, then long live Poland!,” wrote the Swiss Gazette de Lausanne after the concert.
“It was a great honor for our company to cooperate in such an exciting project. We were delighted that the group decided to use the latest Barco technology to celebrate a long history of Polish culture promotion,” concluded Marek Wasilewski, owner of Pro4Media. Pro4Media boasts a wide range of Barco products. It was one of the first AV suppliers to offer Barco’s high-brightness HDF-W18, HDF-W26 and HDQ-2K40 projectors to the eastern European rental and staging market.
