“Everyone is impressed after trying ClickShare”

It’s always great to see how new Barco solutions, like the ClickShare meeting room technology, are making inroads into the corporate world. Even more so when they’re used in places where technology leaders come together, like at the headquarters of VDE, the German Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies.

When VDE refurbished eight meeting rooms at its headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, AV expert AVS Lilienthal suggested installing ClickShare. “We had been looking for a new meeting room presentation system for quite some time, because we were tired of the cabling and all the hassle that comes with it,” said Hans-Günter Göring, Head of Project Controlling at VDE. The results of a trial with a different solution were unsatisfactory. But ClickShare won everyone over. More than the nice look and feel and the absence of cables, Mr. Göring also praises the system’s user-friendliness: “It is very easy to connect and display content, from whatever laptop. We truly feel like ClickShare raises the productivity of our meetings. We no longer waste time on technical hick-ups.”

An innovative product like ClickShare fits in perfectly with the image of VDE. “Technology experts from around the country come here for their meetings. Everyone of them is really impressed,” Göring concluded.
