The World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates is an annual event during which high-profile leaders and organizations from around the globe discuss issues related to peace, solidarity, democracy and human rights. 30 years after former Polish president Lech Walesa won the Nobel Peace Prize, Poland had the honour of hosting the summit as the first country in central Europe. Over 6000 attendees including Dalai Lama XIV, Betty Williams, Lech Walesa, Frederik Willem de Klerk, representatives of the United Nations and Amnesty International, came to the capital of Warsaw for three days of debates and workshops.
Rental company and Barco partner PRO4MEDIA was proud to be relied on to organize the event's technical support. At the Palace of Culture and Science and the Great Theatre, they set up Barco's HDQ-2K40 projector. «With 40 000 lumens output, all attendees were able to fully enjoy the visuals on the big screen in front», says Marek Wasilewski, owner of PRO4MEDIA.
