Arlington County Emergency Communications Center (ECC)

Case study

Better equipped to provide first-class emergency services

When a plane hit the Pentagon, the hub of the US' national defense building, on September 11, 2001 and the Pentagon dialed 911, the Arlington County Emergency Communications Center (ECC) answered the calls. Soon after this disaster, Arlington County realized that the ECC was in urgent need of an upgrade. In May 2008, the new building was inaugurated. It brings state-of-the-art technology to the ECC, including many Barco displays. The Center is enthusiastic about the superior quality of the displays and the professional support. Thanks to its unlimited possibilities, the visualization solution helps the ECC provide its citizens and visitors with the highest level of emergency services
