The Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA) asked Barco to supply TCD 251 Tower Control Displays for the International Spata Airport in Athens, Greece. Thales ATM, France, integrated the 20.1" highbright LCDs into the airport's Surface Movement Guidance and Control System and the Pallas system, which offers improved ATC system safety through three new secondary radar operations. HCAA opted for Barco's visualization solutions because of its long-term product support and the advanced display technology of the TCD 251.
