High-Definition reference monitors
Barco's RHDM-2301P Grade-1 monitor is an ideal reference for a wide range of film and post-production applications: on-set and dailies viewing, film scanning and restoration, various digital intermediate (DI) processes such as color grading, visual effects (VFX), computer generated images (CGI) and digital film mastering, as well as post-production of trailers, commercials, music etc.
The RHDM-2301P offers a high contrast and excellent black detail, a smooth picture without banding artifacts and accurate, CRT-like colors. Scanning LED backlight technology, a 120Hz LCD panel and native interlace mode make the RHDM-2301P an excellent reference for motion handling. The monitor also supports de-interlace and inter-frame handling, Dual Link and 3Gb/s SDI. Additionally, the primaries can be manually adjusted so that film post-production users can make better use of the large LED gamut.
Post-production projectors
The Barco DP90P is a dedicated projector for the post production market.
Based on 2k DLP Cinema™ technology from Texas Instruments, the DP90P projector is the first dedicated post production projector to enable an enhanced color gamut, significantly exceeding the current DCI recommended color space. When combined with a Post Production edition of the D-Cine Communicator software, this increased color space provides the production professional with the tools to perform at the highest level.
The DP90P comes fitted with a motorized lens holder and CLO software which ensures constant light output of the projector over time.
The DP-1200 is the latest addition to Barco’s DP series. With the 0.98 inch DLP Cinema Chip from Texas Instruments, the DP-1200 is the perfect projector for small venues. The DP-1200 is suitable for screens up to 12m and maintains all the advantages of a Barco DP projector, while maintaining an excellent image quality. The DP-1200 is also stackable for dual 3D applications.
