Case study
In February 2009, Irish national broadcaster RTÉ unveiled its new news studio, featuring 3 separate Barco video wall backdrops. RTÉ opted for Barco's 70", XGA video wall system of the second-generation (OV-D2). The backdrop positioned behind the news presenter will be used for the presentation of computer graphics and video images.
RTÉ chose high-bright video walls featuring a 180 Watt lamp system and a 3200K color filter to match with the specific light conditions of the RTÉ TV studio environment.
