Barco China streamlines its projector distribution and service network and appoints 3 exclusive distributors
Beijing, China, 19 March 2008 — Barco, a world wide leader in visualization and display solutions, announces the restructuring of its projector distribution network for mainland China. Barco projection products will be distributed and serviced exclusively by the following 3 distributors: Guangzhou Dehao Electronics Technology (DET), Shanghai Golden Bridge Information Technology (GB), and Beijing Founder Century Information Systems (FD).
The restructuring of the Barco China distribution network is aimed at improving distribution and service for all customers in China. Effective immediately, existing Barco customers, system integrators, partners and dealers, will also be referred to these 3 business partners, regardless of where they purchased their Barco projectors.A 24-hour service hotline 1-400-88-BARCO (or 1-400-88-22726) is launched to ensure a faster response to customer needs. Customers who do not immediately find their way in the new distribution and service network can always call this number for service or sales enquiries, or just with suggestions on how we can improve our service levels.
An online registration program for all Barco projector products has started on www.barco.com.cn. Customers who register their Barco projector products before June 30th, 2008 will receive a 3-month extension of their existing warranty or a free on-site service visit for those projectors that are out of warranty.
